With Woofa-Roo Pet Fest 2023 coming up in a few weeks (June 24th and 25th), we are happy to have veterinarian Dr. Beth Cozens as our reader on June 18th at 11am and 1pm. Dr. Cozens is delighted to share some of her super cool machines and x-rays from the animal hospital with our curious bunch of littles. She’s even bringing a few dogs along with her! A can’t-miss event!
On the Horizon:
WOW! We are so lucky to have a double-feature story time on Sunday, June 25th for the bookshop’s Pride Weekend! Two amazing story time readers back-to-back, how awesome!
At 11am, we’ll have Kelly O’Rourke, Tourism Coordinator for the Town of Amherstburg, which has organized events like TRUE Festival in the spirit of inclusivity. She is happy to read to us for Story Time!
At 1pm, we're happy to host Amanda Villa for a special Drag Queen Story Time. Mandy (short for Amanda Villa) wears vibrant colours, and just like the Mandevilla flower she’s named for, she can trumpet out to the world through lip-sync, live singing, comedy and hosting. We can't wait to welcome Mandy!
